Features: This book is a profound study of the mysteries of life and a classic that guides through life's dilemmas. The I Ching is a treasure trove of wisdom. We may not fully grasp it, but we cannot afford not to read it. Even if we cannot fully restore its original meaning, at least we can interpret it from our own perspective. As long as we find a "way in" to the I Ching, we can immerse ourselves in it and draw rich nourishment from its wisdom. Reading the I Ching, philosophers gain insight into dialectics, historians gain insight into history, politicians gain insight into governance, military strategists gain insight into warfare, and entrepreneurs gain insight into the essence of business and management. It is an enjoyment of pursuing truth and continually approaching it. As a classic among classics and philosophy within philosophy, the I Ching is as difficult to interpret for most people as a celestial book. But if you have a purpose in mind and always maintain the attitude of a "gentleman who perseveres all day" (Ding Gan) and keeps pace with the times, you are sure to gain enlightenment. The I Ching is a classic among classics and philosophy within philosophy. At the same time, it is not far removed from the lives of ordinary people. It is also a heavy hammer and war drum that inspires people to strive upward, especially those in adversity who can draw from it an endless source of life wisdom and motivation to move forward. When we read and reflect on the I Ching, we can also use it to plan and guide our careers and lives. To facilitate understanding and deeper comprehension of the I Ching for readers of all levels, we have divided the explanation of each hexagram into four parts:
1. "Clarifying the Mystery of the Hexagram's Words." This section includes the original text of the hexagram's words and the I Ching Commentary. It provides a concise explanation to help readers grasp the basic meaning of the hexagram's words.
2. "Interpreting the Meaning of Each Line." Each line of the hexagram is explained individually, at least offering one perspective for readers to contemplate and further study.
3. "Insights into the Hexagram." Based on the author's personal understanding, this section explores the symbolic and extended meanings of the hexagram, striving to connect them with real-life situations to offer advice and warnings.
4. "Examples Illustrating the Hexagram." Vivid real-life examples are provided to give concrete and lively interpretations of the hexagram's meaning. Examples range from ancient to modern, from China to the world, as long as the principles are clearly and thoroughly explained to aid readers in understanding the hexagram.
For most people, the I Ching is indeed a celestial book, and its difficulty of interpretation is one of the elements that contribute to the "heat" surrounding it. Of course, when reading the I Ching, we should not approach it out of mere curiosity. Instead, we should approach it with complete sincerity and dedication. As long as you have a clear purpose, you are sure to gain enlightenment.
