Fionnula Sherry grew up in a musical family and was born in the town of NAAS in KILDARE, Ireland. She was exposed to various influences from a young age, fostering a deep interest in music, and later graduated from the music college of the University of Ireland. In addition to classical symphony and concerto performances, she has also delved into various musical genres that interest her. Before the formation of Secret Garden, she served as a backing musician for albums by famous Irish singers Shania O'Connor and Van Morrison.
