Features: The prevalence and profound impact of scholars' itinerant activities during the Qing Dynasty are a phenomenon worthy of special attention in Qing history. In the book Scholars' Itinerant Activities and Qing Dynasty Scholarship, the author has discussed this topic. However, due to the following two reasons, further research on the itinerant activities of Qing Dynasty scholars remains very necessary. First, in terms of the research subject, Scholars' Itinerant Activities and Qing Dynasty Scholarship primarily focuses on the itinerant activities of "scholars" with certain status and influence during the Qing Dynasty, while the itinerant activities of ordinary "scholars" with relatively lower status and influence are largely excluded from the discussion. Second, in terms of the research content, Scholars' Itinerant Activities and Qing Dynasty Scholarship mainly explores the intrinsic connections between scholars' itinerant activities and their academic pursuits, thereby investigating the reasons for the flourishing of Qing Dynasty scholarship. As a result, some issues in scholars' itinerant activities that are not directly related to this theme have not been included in the discussion, or they have been mentioned only briefly. In terms of the time span, this research covers the entire Qing Dynasty, spanning 258 years, which is a long period. During this time, the political situation and social environment of the Qing Dynasty were constantly changing, and many aspects of scholars' itinerant activities had to adapt accordingly. Therefore, when conducting this research, it is necessary to consider the potential changes in scholars' itinerant activities across different periods. For this purpose, quantitative analysis must be divided into several periods, so that not only can the itinerant activities of scholars in each period be fully taken into account, but a comprehensive conclusion can also be drawn about the itinerant activities of scholars throughout the Qing Dynasty through the analysis of these activities in different periods.
