Features: This tutorial analyzes and studies the new IEEECS and BUWGKGANTRSE reports, combining the current development status of software engineering in China and the specific context of software engineering education to propose a reference plan that meets the undergraduate teaching requirements of China's software engineering discipline. Centered on the software engineering knowledge system, the tutorial organizes knowledge elements into well-structured and easily implementable learning units, facilitating the sharing of teaching methods and resources, and providing a basic framework for textbook development. Based on the description of the knowledge system, the tutorial proposes a tiered curriculum system including introductory courses, core courses, and elective courses. Introductory and core courses cover the entire core content of the knowledge system, while elective courses can vary according to the needs of educational institutions, degree programs, and students, allowing institutions to leverage their strengths and fostering individualized student development. The tutorial is divided into 6 chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the formation and development of software engineering discipline education; Chapter 2 introduces the software engineering discipline, including its definition, sub-disciplines, and other factors influencing discipline education; Chapter 3 introduces the cultivation objectives for undergraduates, including basic requirements, competencies, and skills; Chapter 4 introduces the software engineering education knowledge system; Chapter 5 discusses the overall structure and tiered design of the curriculum system, providing several teaching plan models; and Chapter 6 defines and describes the main courses recommended in this tutorial. The appendix introduces the teaching situation in China.
