Features: Digital steganography and steganalysis are important technologies in the information warfare of the internet era. This book takes the confrontation between steganography and anti-steganography as its main thread, discussing the major technologies and development frontiers in this field, as well as reflecting the authors' recent research achievements. Chapters 1 and 2 introduce the basic concepts, classifications, and general technical requirements of information hiding and digital steganography. Chapters 3 to 8 discuss various steganography and steganalysis techniques, including those carried by various images and audio, such as LSB-based steganography and its analysis methods, audiovisual characteristic-based methods, the application of spread spectrum technology, lossless steganography techniques, and the detection of the existence of hidden embedded information. Chapters 9, 10, and 11 discuss active attacks on steganography, steganography coding, and the relationship between steganography and computer network security, among other topics. The research on steganography and anti-steganography is of great significance to information security and is receiving increasing attention with the rapid development of information technology. This book is suitable for engineering technicians and researchers/educators in fields such as information technology, communication engineering, computer science and engineering, and electronic technology who are interested in information security and multimedia applications. It can also serve as a textbook and reference for graduate students and senior undergraduate students.
