Under the WTO framework, intellectual property trade has risen to become one of the three pillars of international trade, with issues related to intellectual property emerging in both goods trade and services trade. Globally, economic cooperation, whether in the production sector or trade sector, often revolves around patent rights, trademark rights, and copyright. In other words, intellectual property has become the main measure of contemporary international economic competition and a highly valuable tool for strategic play. Countries worldwide universally prioritize and continuously improve their intellectual property systems, fully utilizing intellectual property to engage in competition and strengthening intellectual property protection have become an irreversible trend. Promoting intellectual property knowledge is one of the essential components of talent cultivation and training. To this end, the Office of the National Intellectual Property Protection Working Group has organized the compilation of "Intellectual Property Protection for Cadres," primarily aimed at policy workers and law enforcement personnel engaged in intellectual property protection. It systematically introduces policies, theories, cases, and relevant laws, regulations, and international treaties concerning intellectual property protection. At the same time, it is also suitable for reference by a broad range of economic and legal practitioners, as well as theoretical researchers and educators involved in intellectual property protection.
