Features: A quiet love story, serene as daisies. Kazushi and Mayumi, who grew up together, got married right after high school graduation. With their grandfather's passing, the already melancholic Kazushi seemed even more lifeless. To help him rediscover the meaning of life, they ventured into the world together, embracing the solitude that only each other could console. Amidst the magnificent nature, the invisible walls between them gradually faded, and finally, they walked home hand in hand, singing.
I sprinkled water to create "rainbows" while gazing at the beautiful sky reflected in the mud and flowing clouds. I realized that these small, amusing incidents were the cells that composed our lives. It's not easy to maintain a kind-hearted state for a long time, and for that, I needed the beauty of the sky, the fragrance of flowers, and the scent of the earth. Therefore, I wanted to say to Kazushi, "Let's go on a trip." If we don't see the beauty of the world, our pent-up emotions will only grow stronger, like pickles that become more intense the longer they ferment. And perhaps a hot spring bath, an open-air onsen, accompanied by the lush greenery and the gushing streams of the gorge, followed by eating unpleasant sashimi and wild boar hotpot while complaining—maybe our spirits would lift.
