Features: "Brain Gym" was originally a column in "The Genius Child Weekly." It was developed through joint research by the magazine's editorial team, child education experts, and child psychology experts. After its launch, it was warmly welcomed by primary school students and their parents. In every issue's reader survey, this column consistently had the highest support rate. It combines knowledge and entertainment, integrating various brain functions through systematic pattern training. Not only does it teach children how to think, but it also provides them with knowledge. The training is silent yet organic—eight exercises are linked in a chain, alternatingly activating and resting different parts of the brain. Many of the exercises in the program deliberately break away from conventional thinking patterns, which is particularly beneficial for developing creative thinking.
Heilongjiang Juvenile and Youth Publishing House recognized the practical value of this brain training program and decided to compile it into a book. In my opinion, this not only promotes the wider dissemination of "Brain Gym," reaching a broader audience, but also enhances the cohesion of each exercise, making it easier for readers to preserve and repeat the training.
