Features: The third phase, which is now presented to the readers as the new series of textbooks. In the writing of this series, the authors strive to embody the following characteristics:
1. Combination of Inheritance and Development. In this set of textbooks, we have fully inherited the advantages and features of the and -stage textbooks while making significant modifications to the textbook system and content. The names of some textbooks have also been revised, with the aim of better adapting to the new economic environment and meeting students' needs for acquiring more knowledge.
2. Independence and Compatibility between Accounting and Finance. With the increasing development of China's capital market and the continuous standardization of enterprise management, the role and importance of financial management have become increasingly prominent. The Ministry of Education has separated financial management from accounting, establishing it as a new major. This major is distinct from accounting as a different discipline, with certain differences in teaching content, but the two are mutually compatible.
3. Emphasis on Theory and Practice. Accounting and finance are disciplines of economic management science, with strong practicality. The textbooks not only clearly explain the theoretical concepts of the basic methods and skills of these two disciplines but also design necessary examples and adopt case-based teaching to cultivate students' practical abilities.
4. Integration of Localization and Internationalization. With China's entry into the WTO, the integration of China's economy into the global economic system is an irreversible trend, and the internationalization of accounting and management is also an inevitable development. This textbook system fully draws on international standards, absorbs the strengths of Western textbooks, and learns from effective foreign experiences and methods that can be adapted to China. At the same time, we fully recognize that Chinese accounting and financial management have their own characteristics, which should be reflected in our textbooks, striving to achieve a balance between localization and internationalization.
