Features: "Capital" is a highly important term in economics. This book represents an initial attempt to establish a theory of moral capital. It first conducts a general theoretical analysis of the concept of moral capital, aiming to construct a "thesis" for the theory of moral capital. Then, it systematically summarizes the views, theories, and ideas on moral capital found in the history of Chinese and Western ethical thought, as well as in the ethical thought of classical Marxist writers, for its own purposes. This outlines a preliminary evolutionary picture of moral capital thought, demonstrating that the proposal of the theory of moral capital is not a fleeting whim but is grounded in a relatively profound history of thought.
After the general theoretical analysis of moral capital and the summarization of moral capital thought, the book proceeds according to the general analytical framework of Marxist political economy. It argues for the existence and unique role of moral capital in the four stages of the overall social production process: production, exchange, distribution, and consumption. This constitutes a preliminary theoretical framework of moral capital, which is presented for the criticism of peers and experts in the field.
