Study of Ming and Qing Huizhou Society

Author: Bian Li

Publish Date: 2004-09-01
Features: This series adheres to the principle of academic excellence above all. It is open to works and collections of essays on micro-studies without limitation on quantity. According to the procedure, authors first submit their manuscripts, and the center invites experts to review them. If the works meet the academic standards for publication, they can be included in the series for publication. The publication costs are raised by the center. This is an important measure to address the difficulties in publishing academic works, especially to promote micro-studies. The naming of the series, "Anhui University Center for Micro-Studies Academic Series," was determined in accordance with the construction requirements of key research bases in humanities and social sciences issued by the Ministry of Education of China. The "Management Measures for Key Research Bases in Higher Education Institutions of Humanities and Social Sciences" issued by the Ministry of Education explicitly states that the personnel of key research bases are mobile and operate under a dynamic mechanism of "bringing in projects and leaving upon completion." Therefore, the employment relationships of the series authors may not be with the center, but as long as they are appointed as full-time or part-time research fellows by the center, their research works can be included in this series.
