Features: Talent is independent. Precisely because it is independent, it possesses liquidity. Outstanding talent is like hard currency—though it may occasionally depreciate, it remains fundamentally hard currency. If your superior is truly anxious about your progress rather than appreciating your efforts and encouraging your growth, if they are not supporting and helping you, if they do not embrace a tolerant heart to accommodate people like you with diverse ideas, if they do not foster a strong corporate culture that fully faces the unknown world, then such a person is not worth following. Their "life truths" for your benefit are filled with traps, and their "essentials of management" are riddled with packaged selfishness.
The book "Bestselling Lies" is not merely aimed at the fake books themselves but also at the flawed work concepts that already exist in our lives. Some authentic books still suffer from the same problems. We hope to provide readers with a different perspective for reflection, acknowledging that all words carry personal responsibility and do not represent universal truths. Readers are free to make their own judgments, as long as these judgments are entirely derived from themselves, they are valuable.
Every individual has varying levels of intelligence, ability, and status, and they are all independent and worthy of respect. If the creators of fake books were to openly state, "This is my viewpoint," you could disagree, but you would need to respect their right to express their ideas. However, they have crossed this very line, leaving no basis for dialogue or discussion.
"Bestselling Lies" is both critical and constructive. If we were to name its targets, they would be three types of people: First, managers with low management capabilities and limited awareness, who act as amplifiers for flawed concepts. Their current beliefs will lead them away from the true essence of management and ultimately harm their own enterprises. Second, those who fabricate lies, who profit from packaging falsehoods using various means. Third, those who seek shortcuts, believing that there are professional principles and shortcuts that can directly lead to success, hoping to gain extraordinary growth by pleasing superiors.
Its constructive aspect lies in pointing out the wrong paths, highlighting the value of independence, and emphasizing the importance and methods of gaining help, building relationships, and cultivating inner strength in the workplace. Without these, even a seemingly successful life is filled with humble compromises and stifled frustrations. With these, even a life that appears to have flaws can still be vibrant and fulfilling.
The meaning of work for us is tied to our perspective on life. The latter serves as a fundamental framework, within which every individual can discern the truth behind lies from their own perspective and seek their own definition of success and work coordinates.
