In the spring and summer, mysterious UFOs suddenly visited a Jiangnan ancient city. The appearance of the UFOs brought many surprises to the city's residents while disrupting the lives of middle school students Guo Zhixin and his classmate Wen Jing. Zhixin lost his father in childhood, his mother suffers from a terminal illness, and his sister has been laid off, leaving the family in extreme poverty. To maintain his studies and treat his mother, Zhixin decides to work and earn money. During one of his trips to find medicine for his mother, Zhixin and Wen Jing meet a mysterious old woman—Grandma Wu. A series of unexpected events then unfold: Zhixin's mother miraculously recovers, Zhixin reunites with his long-lost grandmother he had never met before, and Wen Jing is also reminded of a unforgettable childhood memory.
While telling the story, the work also conveys a serious theme to the audience—humans must not only protect the beautiful yet fragile land that nurtures us, Earth, but also safeguard the innocence and purity of the hearts of young people.
