Features: Calligraphy is the art of writing Chinese characters. Chinese characters, in the long course of their evolution and development, have played an important social role in aspects such as ideological exchange and cultural inheritance. At the same time, they have also formed a unique plastic art in themselves. They are not only a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation but also shine uniquely in the world's cultural and artistic treasury. Through modern research, it is generally believed that the origin of Chinese characters dates back to the "Yangshao Culture period" in the middle reaches of the Yellow River in China, which was created about 5,000 to 6,000 years ago. The Yangshao Culture is named after its first discovery in 1921 at Yangshao Village in Henan's Shengxian County. Over the past 40 years, many more discoveries have been made. In 1954, numerous pottery pieces with different symbols were unearthed at the Yangshao site in Banpo, Xi'an. In 1959, symbols of the Yangshao Culture were also found in the Dawenkou area of Shandong Province.
