Features: Ward off evil. Or "ward off evil." It means to dispel and deter all evil spirits and impurities believed to harm humans. In Western terms, it is generally called Purmcatory or apotropaic, which is an important motif in ancient folklore, mythology, and art. Even in modern times, traces of its construction can still be seen in different forms. This is what Engels called "a living fossil of society" or what is known as "cultural survivals." In terms of natural religion or primitive beliefs, it is often attributed to "charm magic" or "protection magic" (Charmmaoic). But this is not comprehensive. As a species, humans have a fundamental instinct to preserve and develop themselves, "avoid" or eliminate enemies: the preservation of the species and the pursuit of benefits while avoiding harm have always been important aspects of the survival of the fittest. Therefore, "ward off evil" also has a complementary dual function: negative, to eliminate harm; positive, to enhance well-being. "Objects to ward off evil" and "amulets" are often simultaneously "auspicious" or "lucky charms."
