Features: On the night before her wedding, female police officer Ou Qingchun's fiancé sacrifices himself in the fight against drug trafficking. Ou Qingchun, filled with grief and anger, dedicates herself to the unfinished cause of her beloved and donates his corneas to Xiao Tong, a law department student, restoring his sight. Xiao Tong is a warm-hearted and innocent young man. Ou Qingchun's selflessness, her identity, and her beauty and maturity far beyond Xiao Tong's imagination inspire him to fall in love with her. Ou Qingchun also develops feelings for Xiao Tong. However, life is far from simple. For years, the drug trafficking team leader Li Chunqiang has pursued Ou Qingchun, and she cautiously avoids his affection. During a playful encounter, Xiao Tong meets the daughter of the big boss, Ouyang Tian, Ouyang Lalan. Unbeknownst to him, the willful wealthy falls deeply in love with him at first sight. Drug trafficking operations continue, and clues suggest that the hidden drug lord is likely the big boss, Ouyang Tian. Learning that Xiao Tong has no feelings for Ouyang Lalan, Ou Qingchun asks him to help investigate the Ouyang family. Unable to tolerate Xiao Tong's indifference, Ouyang Lalan, following her father's plan, designs a trap to lure Xiao Tong into the world of drugs. Based on clues provided by Xiao Tong, Ou Qingchun and her comrades intercept a large quantity of heroin, bringing the operation to a temporary halt. However, Xiao Tong's situation worsens, and he is eventually expelled from school for drug use. Learning that Xiao Tong's actions were all out of love for her, Ou Qingchun is deeply moved. She not only helps him quit drugs but also, despite Li Chunqiang's objections, brings him home to live with her, asking her father to take care of him and monitor his behavior. Their relationship grows closer. One day, Ou Qingchun returns home and finds a syringe with white residue on the bed, mistakenly believing Xiao Tong has relapsed. In anger, she slaps him, only to learn from her father that she has been wronged. When she finally finds Xiao Tong, she cannot suppress her emotions and, in front of Li Chunqiang, throws herself into his arms. With the drug trafficking case making little progress, superiors propose having Xiao Tong infiltrate the Ouyang family again. Ou Qingchun hesitates, unsure of how reconnecting with Ouyang Lalan will affect Xiao Tong. However, Xiao Tong, who has just returned to normal life, accepts the task. He wants to avenge Ou Qingchun and take revenge on the Ouyang family. Xiao Tong reappears before Ouyang Lalan, this time posing as an intermediary in a drug deal and using relapse to gain the trust of Ouyang Tian's gang. The cunning Ouyang Tian arranges for his men to conduct the transaction while having his daughter take Xiao Tong hostage to wait and see. Li Chunqiang, disguised as a buyer, leads his team to eliminate the drug dealers arriving for the exchange. Ouyang Tian, hearing the news, flees in panic and hides. Xiao Tong and Ou Qingchun are separated, each longing for the other. Ouyang Lalan, meanwhile, uses drugs to regain control over Xiao Tong and becomes pregnant. She genuinely loves him and believes that the best path for him is to stay by her side forever. When Xiao Tong and Ou Qingchun meet again, Ou Qingchun cannot accept the fact that Ouyang Lalan is pregnant and refuses to listen to his explanation. Xiao Tong feels ashamed and realizes the growing distance between him and Ou Qingchun. Ouyang Tian decides to temporarily leave the country. Before leaving, Ouyang Lalan calls Xiao Tong to bid farewell. Ou Qingchun learns of this and follows, placing Xiao Tong once again between two women. Ou Qingchun orders her men to surround Ouyang Tian's group. Seeing Xiao Tong walk calmly toward her, Ouyang Lalan suddenly realizes that money can never buy love. The man truly hates her, and she pulls out a gun, killing the man she always wanted to dominate. Xiao Tong falls to the ground, and Ou Qingchun rushes to him, cradling his body as she cries bitterly. At a ceremony held by the public security bureau, Ou Qingchun bids farewell to Xiao Tong with a passionate kiss.
