This series consists of 18 volumes, written by renowned experts in relevant fields. The content includes the following three aspects:
First, based on a large amount of monitoring data, it reveals the key facts of global change and their manifestations in various subsystems;
Second, based on interdisciplinary theories such as solar radiation, atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric physics, environmental and ecological evolution, it explains the causes of climate change in an accessible manner;
Third, guided by the theory of sustainable development, it proposes various strategies, approaches, and methods for human adaptation and mitigation of global change.
The publication of this series aims to provide people with a clear and comprehensive scientific understanding of global change, thereby encouraging greater attention to global change and enabling a higher-level, broader recognition of China's role and position in global change. It also inspires people to actively participate in collective decision-making for human society and to protect the Earth environment that sustains us.
