Features: Ten years ago, the "World War II series" published by our press received a strong response in society and was well-received by a broad readership. In recent years, many readers have requested reprints and reissues of some of the books in the series. Our press has now compiled over a hundred representative illustrations from this series into a new illustrated book titled "World War II International Figures." On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the World War II against Fascism, we dedicate this series to our readers. The illustrated book "World War II International Figures" consists of 15 volumes, featuring 15 renowned figures, primarily covering the representative figures from both sides of World War II who played decisive roles in politics and military. These include books written by the popular international affairs expert and best-selling author Jie Lifu, such as "The Three of World War II" and "The Three of World War II," as well as others compiled by military historians on famous military commanders of World War II. This series also selects the fascist demons who committed heinous crimes against humanity. It tells us how the main villains of World War II—Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo Hideki—used to rise to power, how they expanded their armies and prepared for war, and how they recklessly provoked World War II, bringing immense to the people of the world. It also shows how they inevitably took steps toward their own. The series also features military commanders from both sides of the conflict. In this great battle between justice and evil, progress and reaction, the Allied commanders, with their diverse talents and skills, stood at the forefront, clad in armor and engaging in fierce struggles. The series also includes the generals of the fascist countries of Germany, Japan, and France. Although they were criminals who launched fascist aggression, their actions in the military field still hold lessons for future generations to study and learn from. In today's world, peace and development remain the themes of the era. The pursuit of peace, cooperation, and development is not only the universal aspiration of the people but also an inevitable trend of social progress. However, on the other hand, we must also see that hegemonism and power politics still exist, traditional and non-traditional security issues are intertwined, and localized wars and armed conflicts continue to rise. The world is far from peaceful. As the saying goes, "A stone from a distant mountain can be used to polish jade." For all young people who are passionate about peace, concerned about national security, and determined to serve in the military to defend their homeland, reading this series will bring them great benefits.
