Features: Ten years ago, the "World War II series" published by our press received strong response in society and was well-received by a broad readership. In recent years, many readers have requested reprints and new editions of some of the books in the series. Our press has now compiled over a hundred representative illustrations from the series into the illustrated book series "World War II International Figures." On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the World War II against Fascism, we dedicate this series to the readers. The illustrated book series "World War II International Figures" consists of 15 volumes, featuring 15 famous figures, primarily covering the representative figures from both sides of World War II who played decisive roles in politics and military. These include books written by the internationally acclaimed expert on international issues and best-selling author Jie Lifu, such as "The Three of World War II" and "The Three of World War II," as well as others compiled by military historians on famous military commanders of World War II. This series also selects the most heinous fascists who committed atrocities against humanity. It tells us how the architects of World War II—Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo Hideki—used to rise to power, how they expanded their armies and prepared for war, and how they recklessly provoked the global conflict, bringing immense to the world's people, and how they inevitably moved step by step toward their downfall. The series also features military commanders from both sides of the conflict. In this great battle between justice and evil, progress and reaction, the Allied commanders, with their diverse talents and skills, stood at the forefront, clad in armor and engaged in fierce struggles. The series also includes the generals of the fascist countries of Germany, Japan, and France. Although they were criminals who launched fascist aggression, their military achievements still hold valuable lessons for future generations to study and learn from. In today's world, peace and development remain the themes of the era. The pursuit of peace, cooperation, and development is not only the universal aspiration of the people but also the inevitable trend of social progress. However, on the other hand, we must also recognize that hegemonism and power politics still exist, traditional and non-traditional security issues are intertwined, and localized wars and armed conflicts continue to arise. The world is far from being peaceful. As the saying goes, "A stone from a distant mountain can polish jade." For all passionate youth who love peace, care about national security, and are determined to serve in the military to protect their homeland, reading this series will bring them great benefits.
