Features: Many candidates feel lost and seek timely guidance when they start their review, as they wonder how to effectively utilize the approximately one-year study time for exams. To better meet the needs of candidates, this book provides a relatively detailed writing review plan in the form of an upper part, a middle part, and a lower part. The upper part is the foundation section, intended for use from March to June, aiming to establish writing awareness through reading standardized short passages. The commentary on model essays in this chapter is designed to allow candidates to carefully analyze the word choice, sentence structure, and organization in the examples, thereby improving and enhancing their writing awareness. Based on the authors' teaching experience, many students possess a certain level of English proficiency, but due to limited practice, their writing awareness is relatively weak. They often struggle to start writing or produce simple and colorless sentences that fail to convey their intended meaning. However, by studying the examples and learning some writing methods and techniques, they can significantly improve their writing skills in a short period. Mastering and expanding commonly used writing vocabulary, and attempting to write, are the goals of the second chapter. In this chapter, the authors hope candidates can complete the writing process by using the provided common writing vocabulary, topic-related words, and sentence patterns. The purpose of the middle part is to systematically learn writing techniques and strengthen writing abilities. Chapters 2 and 3 cover writing knowledge and skills. If candidates have established writing awareness through the upper part, it is recommended that they read the explanations on writing skills for postgraduate entrance exams and various question types, including application letters. Application letters are a key focus of the revisions this year. We provide detailed and targeted explanations on the methods of writing letters, memos, and abstracts. Additionally, to help candidates build a solid foundation, we offer a wealth of sentence patterns covering various aspects, hoping to assist them. The chapter on practicing past exam questions provides candidates with questions from 1997 to 2005. We suggest that candidates, when practicing these questions, follow the time requirements: 15 to 20 minutes for short essays and 30 to 40 minutes for long essays. For sections without short essay questions, candidates can independently choose alternative short essay topics. Through practicing past exam questions, they can understand the question-setting methods, identify their difficulties, and review and improve their writing skills accordingly.
