Many instructors who adopt this book tell us that it has helped them transform their courses into one of the most popular courses at their schools. In addition to managerial economics courses, this book is widely used in corporate governance, strategic management, human resource management, and organizational economics, serving as an effective tool for MBA students, EMBA students, and undergraduate management majors."—James Brikley, Professor at the Simon Business School, Rochester University
This is an innovative and highly acclaimed textbook in managerial economics, distinguished by its unique approach. It addresses the shortcomings of traditional managerial economics—such as being dry, rigid, overly theoretical, and disconnected from real-world management practices—by building upon and refining core issues like pricing and production decisions in standard managerial economics. It integrates the rich research findings of new-generation economists in the application of microeconomics, providing a rigorous, systematic, comprehensive, and practical analytical framework for active economic actors on contemporary major management practice issues, such as corporate governance, decision-making power allocation, performance evaluation, compensation and incentive systems, outsourcing, and transfer pricing.
