Biography of Zhao Qunli: Zhao Qunli was formerly the Deputy Director of the Chinese Channel of Hong Kong Phoenix TV and a renowned aviation photographer in China. He had served as the aerial cinematographer for major documentaries such as CCTV's "Deng Xiaoping," "Long March: The Epic of Heroes," the Boao Forum in Asia, as well as Phoenix TV's "Europe: A Journey," "Millennium Journey," and "Crossing the Sand Line." On September 2, 2001, while on an aerial photography assignment for Phoenix TV's "Seeking the Vanishing Homeland," he tragically collided with high-voltage power lines while filming the ancient village of Nanxi River in Yongjiang, Zhejiang, and died on the spot.
