The new revision of the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans was jointly released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture in January 2005.
The Dietary Guidelines for Americans is based on new scientific evidence and surveys of the national health status, and its recommendations and guidelines take into account various populations, including gender, race, age, and other special groups. Therefore, it is undeniably scientific, authoritative, and adaptable.
For the convenience of Chinese readers, we have converted all the imperial units used in the English edition into metric units or added metric units after the imperial units.
Additionally, we have included the How to Be Healthier guide, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture based on the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
