Features: This dictionary is compiled for the convenience of primary and secondary school students in learning and using idioms. It contains a total of 4,000 idioms. It includes the most common and frequently used idioms encountered in daily reading and writing, covering the vast majority of idioms found in primary and secondary school Chinese textbooks. The entries in the main body of this dictionary are arranged in alphabetical order of Chinese Pinyin. For each entry, after listing the idiom, the Pinyin pronunciation is provided first. If the idiom contains difficult characters or words, an explanation follows. Then, the entire idiom is elaborated on, followed by [Example Sentences]. This dictionary uses Chinese Pinyin to annotate the pronunciation of each character in the idiom. For characters that require tone changes in spoken language, the original tone is always used without any tone modification.
