It provides detailed introductions to more than 40 scenic spots and natural landscapes in Nanyang, as well as more than 30 ancient and modern figures and significant historical events. Nanyang is a magical land in southwestern Henan. As early as 400,000 to 500,000 years ago, the "Nanzhao Ape Man," living alongside the "Peking Man," thrived here. Nanyang is a land of outstanding talent, where famous figures have emerged in abundance, shining like stars in the sky. Only those recorded in history number over 2,000. Prominent among them are the great statesman Bi Li and Fan Li, the scientific giant Zhang Heng, the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing, the renowned architect Yang Tingbao, and many others, too numerous to list. Nanyang boasts beautiful mountains and clear waters, with numerous scenic spots. After development, it has formed four major scenic and tourism areas: the Wancheng Historical Sites in the central region, the Danjiangkou Reservoir in the west, Tongbai Mountain in the east, and Mount Funiu in the north. Nanyang also has the Neixiang Ancient County Government Office, the only preserved ancient county government office in China, built in 1304 AD. Additionally, it has a dinosaur egg fossil site, which experts and scholars describe as a "shocking scientific discovery of world significance."
