Features: To the departments under the Ministry, and the water conservancy departments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government: According to the plan for the formulation and revision of water conservancy and hydropower technical standards of the Ministry, the "Code for Design of Hydraulic Concrete Structures" was compiled by the Director of the General Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Planning and Design, with the Northwest Hydroelectric Power Design and Research Institute as the leading organization. After review and approval, it has been approved as a recommended standard for the water conservancy industry and is hereby published. The name and number of the standard are: "Code for Design of Hydraulic Concrete Structures" SL/T191-96. This standard shall come into effect on May 1, 1997. Considering the actual conditions of various units, the original "Code for Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures for Hydraulic Engineering" SDJ20-78 may still be continued, but conditions should be created to use the new standard as soon as possible. During the implementation of the standard, units should summarize experience and report any issues to the leading department in writing. The standard text is published and distributed by China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Press. This book is a national industry standard of the People's Republic of China for the design code of hydraulic concrete structures.
