With the deepening trend of global economic integration, anti-dumping, as a legal remedy to counteract the dumping of low-priced foreign products, has been increasingly used by more countries and regions in recent years to protect their domestic industries. The number and value of anti-dumping cases worldwide have grown significantly, involving an ever-expanding range of products, which has also led to numerous anti-dumping disputes. As a part of the WTO Anti-Dumping Series, this book collects six anti-dumping disputes involving Guatemala, Thailand, Argentina, and Egypt, which were heard by the Expert Body and the Appellate Body from January 1995 to December 2003, in chronological order of the disputes.
