Features: Hongzhou Kiln is one of the famous celadon kilns in the Tang Dynasty, mentioned as early as in the Tang Dynasty's "The Classic of Tea." Lu Yu, known as the "Sage of Tea," wrote in the section on tea utensils in "The Classic of Tea": "The bowl from Yuezhou is the best, followed by Dingzhou, Wuzhou, Yuezhou, Shouzhou, and Hongzhou. As time progresses, the needs and aesthetic awareness of people change, and kilns in Jiangxi such as Jingdezhen, Jizhou in Jiujiang, Qili Town in Ganzhou, and Baishai in Nanfeng rise to prominence. Meanwhile, the ancient celadon kilns in Jiangsu and Zhejiang demonstrate greater pioneering spirit and stronger market awareness than the owners of Hongzhou Kiln, leading to its weakened competitiveness. By the Five Dynasties period, Hongzhou Kiln gradually faded from the historical stage. Although Hongzhou Kiln has left the historical stage, its long history of porcelain production and brilliant achievements in porcelain-making technology have made outstanding contributions to the development of ceramics in China and even the world.
