Features: The Han-Ying Dictionary is extensive in scope and comprehensive in function. It includes 11,000 single-character entries and 220,000 multi-character entries (including 20,000 idioms and colloquialisms, and 20,000 newly coined words in the past decade). Additionally, it lists 200,000 compound words within the entries. The dictionary is arranged in Pinyin order, with all entries annotated in Pinyin. Polyphonic and polysemic characters are listed in corresponding positions, and cross-references are provided. At the beginning of the dictionary, there are four types of indexes: syllables, Pinyin, radicals, and stroke counts. Traditional and variant characters follow the main entries for single characters. The definitions of single-character entries are categorized by part of speech and provided in both Chinese and English. At the end of the book, there are five appendices. The dictionary is extremely convenient for both Chinese and foreign readers.
