The basic purpose of the Price Monitoring and Analysis Report is to:
Long-term tracking and research of price trends, comprehensively analyzing a basket of price indicators such as the Consumer Price Index (CPI), Producer Price Index (PPI), and Asset Price Index, in-depth exploration of the interaction between domestic and international prices, a holistic grasp of macroeconomic performance, accurate judgment of the overall economic situation, and providing a stronger theoretical basis for monetary policy decisions.
The Price Monitoring and Analysis Report focuses on macroeconomic analysis and the analysis of domestic and international price trends and their impacts. Its main content includes:
(1) Analysis of the overall price situation in the recent period;
(2) Analysis of the overall economic situation, including: demand analysis, output and supply analysis, inventory analysis;
(3) Analysis of the Consumer Price Index (CPI);
(4) Analysis of the Industrial Product Price Index;

The Price Monitoring and Analysis Report is released in the second half of March, June, September, and December each year, with four issues annually.
