Features: Mathematics is an important foundational subject. To build a solid foundation in mathematics, it should be emphasized from primary school. The mathematics knowledge in the primary school stage may seem varied, but from the perspective of quality-oriented education, it is essential to focus on cultivating students' innovative awareness and practical abilities. In recent years, with the comprehensive implementation of quality-oriented education in primary schools, teachers, students, and parents have increasingly recognized the importance of exposing students with a learning interest and aptitude in mathematics to some aspects of Olympiad mathematics. This book addresses the common issues in many previous Olympiad books, such as excessive descriptions, overly difficult problems, and low student engagement. During the writing process, it specifically incorporates several features:
[Aligned with the Curriculum] Enhances and deepens understanding of the foundational knowledge learned in class.
[Easily Self-Study] Provides detailed thought processes and solutions for examples to help students master methods.
[Hierarchical Structure] Presents problems from easy to difficult, with clear levels and connections to real-life applications.
[Thought-Provoking] Stimulates thinking, encourages multiple solutions, and includes hints in the answers.
[Open-Ended] Some problems have open conditions, solutions, or results, allowing students to fully unleash their imagination and creativity.
[Engaging] Lower-grade problems emphasize observation, hands-on drawing and measuring, with an animated style.
To avoid overburdening students, this book arranges three days of self-study and practice for each lesson. On the first day, students focus on "Topic Analysis" and "Foundation Refinement," completing two imitation training problems; on the second day, they complete two consolidation training problems; and on the third day, they complete two expansion and improvement problems, ensuring daily learning and practice.
