I. Principles of Compilation
This textbook follows the principle of combining "structure—function—culture" during its compilation, with basic Chinese grammar structures as the main thread, integrating communicative functions and cultural projects, with daily conversations and cultural knowledge as the primary content.
II. Characteristics of the Textbook
1. Emphasis on Scientificity and Systematicity
This textbook primarily references the Outline of Vocabulary for Chinese Proficiency Tests (compiled by the National Office for Chinese Language Education, Beijing Language and Culture University Press, 1992) and the Outline of Chinese Proficiency Levels (Trial Version) (compiled by the Research Group of Chinese Proficiency Level Standards of the Chinese Language Education Society for Overseas Chinese, Beijing Language and Culture University Press, 1996), among other latest research findings. It also takes into account Chinese language textbooks used by Japanese high school and university students. The grammar points in this textbook are arranged following the principle of progressing from easy to difficult and from simple to complex.
2. Striving to Increase Repetition Rate and Strengthen Student Practice
The compilation of this textbook pays attention to the repetition rate of grammar points and vocabulary. The book consists of 25 lessons and is aimed at students with zero prior knowledge, with content mainly focused on simple conversations related to students' daily lives, except for phonetics.
