Features: "The Archangel" lands on the Zaf?-controlled African continent, Biar Desert, where they are awaited by Bartfeld's forces, known as the "Desert Tiger." The Archangel joins forces with the local resistance to defeat the Desert Tiger, then crosses the Red Sea and heads toward the Indian Ocean. Along the way, they engage in a fierce battle with Zaf't's underwater forces, and Kira, who is aboard, goes missing in the fight. Kira drifts to a deserted island and encounters Aslan, who escaped after their transport plane was shot down. Despite their differing views, the two gradually understand each other and eventually part ways.
After, the Archangel finally reaches Oub. As part of an agreement to repair the warship and replenish supplies, Kira agrees to provide technical assistance to Morgan Reid. There, Kira unexpectedly encounters Aslan, who has secretly infiltrated Oub to investigate. In their awkward conversation, both feel the lingering friendship deep within their hearts.
Once repaired, the Archangel sets sail toward Alaska but is ambushed and destroyed by Aslan's Niquele in a double kill. Enraged by the grief, Kira and Aslan engage in a one-on-one battle. Aslan pilots the "Aegis" to transform and grab the "Strike," then activates the self-destruct device and escapes the cockpit, leaving behind a brilliant flash of light. The "Strike" Gundam is destroyed. What will become of Kira?
