The Beijing Adult Higher Education Bachelor's Degree English Proficiency Test (abbreviated as the Unified Adult English Proficiency Test for Bachelor's Degree) is one of the necessary conditions for adult higher education undergraduate (non-foreign language major) students to obtain a bachelor's degree. Since its implementation in 1991, the test has been held 14 times in a row. Due to the increasing number of candidates each year, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission decided in 2003 to change the test from an annual single session to two sessions per year, held in April and November respectively. To meet the needs of candidates, only a few relevant teaching materials have been published so far, some of which are too thin in content or slightly outdated, unable to meet the growing preparation needs of a large number of candidates.
