Features: Preface Computed tomography (CT) has been applied in clinical practice for over 20 years as a new medical imaging technology. With the advancement of equipment, improvements in imaging methods, and the accumulation of diagnostic experience, it has provided reliable evidence for the localization and even qualitative diagnosis of many diseases. As a result, more and more radiologists and clinicians are paying attention to selecting CT scans as the fundamental diagnostic tool for diseases. In China, CT machines have been to hospitals at the county level or below, and numerous professional books on head CT and body CT have been published. However, there remains a shortage of publications in the form of CT diagnostic. To meet the needs of radiologists and clinicians in grassroots hospitals and help them further understand the CT manifestations of various diseases, we have carefully selected nearly 1,900 images from over 80,000 cases in our hospital's radiology department over the past decade, organized and classified them, and published them. The book includes not only common and frequently occurring diseases but also a large number of rare and challenging cases, all of which have been confirmed through surgery, pathology, or clinical follow-up, providing valuable materials for CT diagnostic technology. The content of the book is divided into six chapters, organized in the order of the brain, head and neck, chest, abdomen, pelvic region, and spinal bone and joint as well as soft tissue lesions. Each chapter also includes normal CT images of the corresponding region for reference during clinical diagnosis. The book is primarily written for clinical application, featuring a broad scope, up-to-date content, clear images, concise text, easy-to-understand language, and strong practicality, making it an extremely valuable reference book for clinical use. During the writing process, the book received strong support and full affirmation from Professor Wang Chengyuan, a renowned radiology expert from Tongji Medical University in China, who also took the time to write the preface with great pleasure. Professor Zhang Zhilin from Hubei Medical University reviewed the entire book in his busy schedule and provided many valuable suggestions on the writing style, data collection, and organization. Science and Technology Documentation Press and Wuhan Tianyuan Science and Technology Culture Co., Ltd. have given strong support to the publication and distribution of this book. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of them. Given the limited knowledge and time constraints of the authors, errors are inevitable. We sincerely invite colleagues to point out any mistakes.
