3. The Chinese idiom entries in this dictionary are presented in both simplified and traditional Chinese characters, with simplified characters listed first and traditional characters following. The entries are arranged in alphabetical order based on the Pinyin romanization. If the first characters of two entries are homophonic and share the same tone, they are ordered based on the second character, and so on.
