Features: "Fundamentals of Advertising Design" is a mandatory subject for self-study exams in advertising design. It serves as a foundational course for students to establish basic design skills and an introductory course for design studies. The course comprehensively covers all aspects of graphic advertising design. It primarily consists of two major sections: one is the theoretical part, using the textbook "Fundamentals of Advertising Design" by Wang Xiaosheng as the reference. The content includes graphic design, text design, color layout design, logo design, typography, packaging design, display design, bookbinding design, poster design, outdoor advertising design, and television advertising design, among others. Printing, screen printing, and storyboard drawing are also covered. The other is the skills part, which includes sketching, color sketching, plane composition, and color composition, comprising four courses in total, each with its own textbook. Due to the broad scope of knowledge covered in the entire course, the large volume of content, and the lack of systematic connections between the textbooks, it is highly necessary to publish a supplementary textbook. This textbook organizes and systematizes the main content of each textbook in line with the overall course requirements, facilitating the learning and reading of candidates. The supplementary textbook closely aligns with the design requirements and specifications of the exam syllabus. The content is divided into two sections: the theoretical part is structured with chapters including "Key Learning Points," "Question Bank," and "Answer Key," reducing the reading intensity for candidates and making it easier for them to focus on and master the main content and important knowledge points of the course. Additionally, the "Guidance Materials" section provides supplementary professional knowledge and resources directly related to the chapter content, helping candidates further understand and reinforce what they have learned. The skills part carefully considers the actual skill level of candidates in this field and reorganizes the content of the skill courses. This is beneficial for beginners to quickly develop an interest in the profession and, through course learning, ultimately achieve the goal of cultivating candidates' keen sensitivity to visual information, analytical abilities to grasp the characteristics of things, effective expression of visual information, and the ability to consciously create and imagine. This aims to establish their aesthetic views and lay a solid foundation for future professional courses.
