Features: This book is a specialized work on the core strategies for the rise of Central China. To enhance its theoretical and academic rigor and avoid vague generalizations, each chapter in the book provides an in-depth yet accessible description of relevant cutting-edge modern theories to broaden readers' perspectives and elevate their rational understanding. The second section of each chapter employs mathematical models based on comprehensive data to conduct comparative analyses of relevant issues in the six central provinces. Sections following the second one specifically propose corresponding strategic countermeasures and major initiatives. The book is divided into five chapters. The opening chapter analyzes the "current status, opportunities, and challenges of human resource development in Central China," explicitly revealing the significance of human resource development and the strategy for building a talent-powered nation, thereby laying a theoretical foundation and empirical analysis basis for the entire book, making it the framework of the work. The following four chapters revolve around the central theme of "promoting Central China's rise through human resource development," elaborating on major initiatives from four aspects: enhancing human capital, prioritizing education development, advancing technological innovation, and implementing talent strategies.
Chapter 2, "Enhancing Human Capital and Transforming Central China's Economic Growth Model," first briefly introduces human capital theory and its measurement methods for economic growth contributions, then employs the "new growth theory" production function analysis model to conduct an empirical analysis of the contribution of human capital to economic growth in Central China, and proposes primary pathways for transforming the economic growth model.
Chapter 3, "Prioritizing Education Development to Drive Sustainable Economic Growth in Central China," introduces the theory of education driving economic development before conducting a comprehensive comparative analysis of the current state of education in Central China, proposing specific measures for education development.
Chapter 4, "Advancing Technological Innovation to Build a Talent Hub in Central China," first elaborates on how technological innovation serves as the driving force for sustainable economic development, followed by a comparative analysis of Central China's technological capabilities, and then proposes initiatives to establish an innovation system and build a talent hub.
Chapter 5, "Implementing a Talent Strategy to Promote Central China's Rise," serves as the culmination of the book. After a comparative analysis of the modernization paths Central China should adopt and the current level of modernization in the region, it proposes that the realization of Central China's rise strategy must adhere to scientific development concepts, implement a talent strategy, enhance regional competitiveness, and pursue a path of new industrialization and comprehensive modernization.
