Features: In 1996, the Law School of Renmin University of China introduced a new course called "Evidence Investigation" based on the existing "Criminal Investigation" course, which was well-received by students. Currently, some other political and legal institutions have also begun to pilot the offering of this course. Based on the practical needs of evidence investigation research and the summary of teaching experience, we once specifically compiled a textbook titled "Practical Guide to Evidence Investigation" (Renmin University of China Press, 2000 edition). This textbook has now been revised to reflect changes in the situation and the latest theoretical achievements. The newly revised textbook has undergone significant changes in both content and form, and its name has been simplified to "Evidence Investigation." This textbook is primarily designed for undergraduate students and master's degree candidates in law schools of higher education institutions, but it is also suitable for judges, public prosecutors, investigators, lawyers, disciplinary inspection and supervision personnel, arbitrators, notaries, as well as administrative and investigative personnel engaged in industrial and commercial, customs, public security, and other law enforcement and investigation work for study and training.
