Features: The same topic, different insights. Exchange, collision, elevation, communication—common pursuit. When you open your heart, you will find fragrance follows the wind.
Thematic essays have the following characteristics:
Relevance: Thematic essays must be related to the topic, generally specifying only the scope of the topic rather than limiting the main idea.
Freedom: This is the major feature of thematic essays. Such essays provide a word, an event, or a piece of text that evokes thought or imagination as the writing focus, with the title left to the writer's choice, material unrestricted, perspective undefined, genre unrestricted, and sometimes even word count limited. In summary, thematic essays reduce restrictions on students, offering them more choices and imaginative space, which helps students maximize their strengths, express their individuality, and showcase their creativity.
This series consists of five books, grand in scale and rich in content; the topics are comprehensive, and the format is scientific; the methods are innovative, and the content is exquisite. The selected essays are either insightful and unique in perspective, or ingeniously crafted with outstanding structure; or beautifully written with fluent expression; or novel in genre with distinctive style. However, all of them authentically reflect the junior high students' praise for life, insights into life, and concern for society, embodying a strong sense of the times and humanistic spirit.
