Features: This book is the eighth volume of the "Compendium of New Therapeutic Experiences in Traditional Chinese Medicine." It focuses on collecting and organizing reports on the treatment of ophthalmology and otolaryngology diseases with Traditional Chinese Medicine from publicly published medical and health academic journals in China over the past decade. The book is systematically summarized by disease, highlighting the essence of the reports and categorizing them accordingly. Each disease is discussed in detail from eight aspects: syndrome differentiation and treatment, fixed formula with modifications based on symptoms, fixed formula treatment, topical medication, combined internal and external treatment, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, and other therapies (with adjustments made based on the amount of available data). The content is comprehensive yet concise, detailed yet to the point, meeting the requirements of being complete, new, refined, and accurate. It is scientifically sound, advanced, and practical. This book is more concise than clinical reports and more detailed than reviews, serving as a of the recent advances in Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment for ophthalmology and otolaryngology over the past decade. It is convenient for clinical practitioners, especially those working in grassroots medical settings, to update their knowledge and exchange information. This book is suitable for medical, teaching, and research workers.
