Features: Biological NMR primarily refers to in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy. This book is divided into 6 chapters. Chapter 1 provides a brief history of the biomedical applications of NMR technology, helping readers better understand the historical development of NMR technology. Chapter 2 introduces the basic principles of NMR technology, mainly aimed at researchers with a medical background who are interested in NMR technology, briefly explaining the concepts and applications of some frequently encountered physical parameters in their work. Chapter 3 covers the basic experimental techniques of medical animals and the fundamental operations of cell culture related to biological magnetic resonance experiments. Chapter 4 discusses current in vivo NMR technology, including the spectral characteristics and measurement principles of commonly used nuclides, with a focus on localization and quantification techniques as well as diffusion spectroscopy techniques. Additionally, it introduces the hardware and software technologies used in biological NMR. Chapter 5 primarily focuses on experimental research in biological NMR spectroscopy, covering various levels from body fluids, cells, organs, to whole animals. Chapter 6 introduces the applications of biological magnetic resonance spectroscopy in the biomedical field. The purpose of this book is to introduce the characteristics of NMR technology to researchers in the fields of NMR and medicine, while avoiding excessive use of technical terms. On one hand, this allows medical researchers to gain a preliminary understanding of NMR technology, and on the other hand, it provides NMR professionals with a general overview of its medical applications.
