Features: The author believes that the process of the emergence and development of architecture is actually a process of the reciprocal rise and fall of architectural convergence and diversity in degree. In fact, architectural convergence and diversity manifest as both commonality and individuality, as well as a certain similarity and difference in architecture. They are also the popularization and improvement of construction experience, forming a contradictory unity that supports and promotes each other. This paper aims to analyze and study the intrinsic roots of architectural convergence and diversity from a cultural perspective, thereby clarifying the fundamental laws of the emergence and development of architecture, and to gain an objective and clear understanding of the current "globalization" of architecture. Based on the characteristics of traditional Chinese culture and the evolution of architectural history, this paper proposes some reflections on contemporary Chinese architectural creation, hoping to contribute to the development of architectural theory and practice.
