The "Insurance Company Accounting System" and "Insurance Company Financial System" formulated by the Ministry of Finance were officially implemented on January 1, 1999. The "Regulations on Enterprise Financial Accounting Reports" promulgated in 2000 redefined the accounting elements, and new specific accounting standards were issued in 2001, followed by the "Financial Enterprises Accounting System" in 2002. This book aims to meet the teaching needs of "Insurance Company Accounting" courses in higher education institutions after the new revised "Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China," a series of new accounting standards, and accounting systems were implemented. It strives to cultivate students' hands-on skills and their ability to analyze and solve problems under the guidance of basic theories.
