Features: "Translation Tea House" is another series of translation-related reading materials dedicated to readers by China Foreign Translation Publishing House, following the "Translation Theory and Practice Series" and "Series Translation Review Series." The features of this series are:
1. Theories are integrated into the text, neither pursuing the establishment of a system nor using academic terminology, making it easy and enjoyable to read;
2. The length of the articles is not restricted, but most of them are rich in content, fluent in writing, reflecting the author's extensive translation experience and solid Chinese proficiency;
3. Since these articles reflect the author's personal insights into translation, they are highly individualized and engaging, sparking readers' interest in reading;
4. Composed of individual articles, reading is convenient—whether at any time, flipping to an article and reading it can bring great benefits;
5. Reading these materials allows readers to learn both English and translation, achieving two goals with one effort. The selected English originals in these books are mostly excellent articles: beautiful in words, beautiful in name, and beautiful in meaning. This book includes 36 articles, divided into four parts: "Heartstrings," "Symphony," "Precision," and "Shared Reflections." The articles reflect the author's personal insights: direct translation and free translation, without rigid adherence to translation styles, always bringing new insights; refining translation to perfection, losing oneself in the process, and only then achieving the best translation.
