Features: Environmental health science is vast and profound, with a strong theoretical foundation. Health education, on the other hand, is highly practical and characterized by applied science. Combining the two is no easy task. This monograph actually divides the content into two parts. The first part, chapters 1-6, primarily focuses on elaborating on environmental and health issues, emphasizing environmental concerns with a human-centric approach related to clothing, food, housing, transportation, and daily. This includes sustainable development and health, textiles and clothing health, environmental and food safety, indoor environmental health, traffic environmental health, and the impact of other factors on human health. Due to limited data, the discussions on these aspects are not balanced, with some analyses being more detailed while others are more concise. The second part, chapters 7-13, covers environmental health education and health promotion, including an introduction to environmental health education and health promotion, as well as its application in communities, public spaces, hospitals, occupational settings, families, and schools. Much of this content is based on existing textbooks and monographs on health education and health promotion, with relevant environmental education sections compiled and appropriately supplemented. The practical value of this book lies in two aspects: first, broadening the perspectives of health education workers to understand some domestic and international environmental health issues, trends, viewpoints, and developments; second, providing environmental health workers with insights into the strategies and methods used in health education. This book primarily discusses environmental and health issues, with a focus on environmental concerns with a human-centric approach related to clothing, food, housing, transportation, and daily.
