Features: Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House plans to publish a series titled "Master's Lectures." The title is quite clear in meaning. They came to seek my opinion, and I strongly approved. These masters were all renowned scholars who taught at famous universities in China during the 20th century. Their academic status has long been established. For example, Mr. Zhou Youyi and Mr. Zhu Ziqing were masters of their generation. Similarly, Mr. You Guoen, Mr. Lei Haizong, and Mr. Zhou Zumo were also authorities in their respective academic fields. Although they have passed away many years ago, their legacy continues to inspire future generations, and their influence on scholars has long been profound. Although they left behind many classic works, a significant amount of their teaching materials were published in the form of lecture notes and have not been well-preserved, facing the risk of being lost. In my opinion, these lecture notes must contain invaluable treasures. Nowadays, we often hear calls to "rescue cultural heritage." Isn't the publication of this series by Tianjin Ancient Books Publishing House a concrete embodiment of such a meritorious act? I believe these lecture notes are extremely precious works that deserve to be passed down through generations. Having them compiled and published will greatly benefit the academic community, and it is indeed a commendable endeavor.
