Features: The emergence of New Chinese enables our modern Chinese to continue upgrading. Modern Chinese is not yet mature. Many of what we have always considered as standard answers may not necessarily be correct—they were merely rules adopted out of necessity at the time. For Chinese itself, such divisions may not be the best. Some of the so-called "standard answers" in the college entrance examination Chinese are highly questionable. The impact of the internet has provided modern Chinese with an opportunity for reflection.
