This series consists of five parts: Comprehensive Technology, Basic Interchangeability, General Components, Common Processing Technologies, and General Products. Each part includes several volumes, and The Gear and Gear Drive Volume is one of the volumes in the General Components section. This volume was jointly compiled by our third editorial department and the National Gear Standardization Technical Committee, collecting 76 currently effective standards approved before November 2004. Among them, there are 61 national standards and 15 mechanical industry standards. It is published in two volumes. The content includes: basic standards, involute cylindrical gears, circular arc cylindrical gears, bevel gears and bevel hypoid gears, worm gears, planetary gears, gear material heat treatment, gear set testing, and others.
