Features: China has clearly defined its goals for the first 20 years of this century. This is to comprehensively build a moderately prosperous society that benefits over a billion people, achieve a doubling of the gross domestic product (GDP) by 2020 compared to 2000, reaching $4 trillion, with a per capita GDP of $3,000, making the economy more developed, democracy more sound, science and education more advanced, culture more prosperous, society more harmonious, and people's lives more prosperous. — Hu Jintao's speech at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Annual Meeting of the Boao Asia Forum
"Fortune Life" is the only financial program in Shanghai with a duration of nearly one hour. Since its launch in 2002, "Fortune Life" has gradually grown into a well-known economic interview program in Shanghai's television media. Currently, the program ranks among the top in viewership ratings on Shanghai TV's Finance Channel. The first three volumes of the related book "Fortune Life" have sold a total of 200,000 copies so far.
Walking into "Fortune Life," there have been over 150 guests, their stories of creating wealth tell us that the path to material wealth is arduous and full of obstacles, and acquiring material wealth is extremely difficult. Similarly, the creation and acquisition of spiritual wealth is no easier. In some sense, it may require even more effort and experience more twists and turns. Of course, the trials and transformations gained from it will also be greater. Through years of charitable work, I have a deep sense of this. Now, "Fortune Life" has become a brand of mainstream media in Shanghai. We know that a brand has a strong influence. It has not only become a vivid, rich supplementary teaching material for our "Three Represents" education but also a good starting point for spiritual civilization construction. In this regard, it is also closely aligned with our charitable work. Our charitable cause is an important aspect of implementing the "Three Represents" and an important path to advancing spiritual civilization construction. With a common purpose and a shared mission, we are united in thought and effort.
Each volume of "Fortune Life" prints these 16 large characters: Life can create wealth, and wealth can change life. I think these brief words also perfectly illustrate this idea: the combination of the "Fortune Life" program and charitable work embodies the notion that life can create wealth, and wealth can change life!
